Sierra Leone Cyclists who have been creating series of impact in Africa have started to compete in the international tour that started on Wednesday June 18, 2014.
The four Cyclists will be competing among 40 other elite cyclists not only from Africa but also from Europe to showcase their talents in the tour of Congo for the first time.
The leader of delegation of the tour, Percy Nicol said the first day of the tour was full of power, as all the cyclists want to show case their skills and power.
He said the four Cyclists representing the country were able to match up to the standard of other cyclists from various countries during the first day.
“It is hoped that cyclists will be able to create the much needed impact by bringing laurels home once again.
