For corrections, tips, story ideas, or partnership questions, write to editorial@awokonewspaper.sl. That address goes to the editorial team, and someone will read every message that is not obvious spam.

If you are reporting an error, include the URL and quote the sentence or paragraph that needs fixing. The more specific you are, the faster we can verify and correct it. Screenshots help if the problem is layout or a broken link.

Tips are welcome, but we cannot promise follow-up on every lead. If you have documents, photos, or detailed knowledge of a situation, say so in the first email. We will let you know quickly whether it fits what we cover and whether we can pursue it.

We aim to reply on business days, which for us means Monday through Friday, Freetown time. If you write on a weekend or holiday, expect a delay. If a week goes by with no answer, check your spam folder and then send a follow-up. Sometimes mail gets lost.

Partnership inquiries, syndication, translation rights, data sharing, research collaboration, go to the same address. Be clear about what you are proposing and what you need from us. We are open to collaboration when it serves the readers and does not compromise editorial independence.

We do not accept unsolicited articles or guest posts. If you want to contribute reporting or analysis, introduce yourself, explain your expertise, and link to previous work. We will tell you honestly whether there is a fit.

For legal notices, copyright questions, or formal complaints, use the same email and mark the subject line accordingly. We will route it to the right person and respond as the situation requires.
