Zain the leading mobile Telecommunication Company with the most reliable and affordable service in Africa and the Middle East with ONE NETWORK has organized their annual foot ball tournament for its corporate clients in Sierra Leone.
The competition has heated up at the St Edwards Secondary school playing field at Kingdom with different corporate clients coming on board to play each other.
The Corporate Account Executive at Zain Patrick Kamara explained to AWOKO in an interview that the objective of the tournament is to bring together top corporate clients to interact and share ideas out of the work place.
He said Zain management had a set criterion for the tournament and eight teams registered, adding that winners will be awarded fantastic prizes which include Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Kamara also explained that players will be given awards for exemplary performances after the tournament which is expected to end on the 21st November 2009 with a night carnival.
He however warned the participating teams not to use players at the tournament who are not working as employees for the participating institutions.
Since the start of the tournament it has attracted the general public and private sectors and it has been a motivation to the participating teams who are prepared to clinch this year’s trophy.
The United States Embassy will play UTB, who defeated Standard Chartered Bank by six goals to nil (6-0) and in the other encounter GTBank lost to UNIPSIL by two goals to one (2-1) last weekend.
