The Sierra Leone Wrestling Association has started a three-week coaching course at the Presidential Lounge of the National Stadium in Freetown.
The course would involve both theory and practical lessons and participants would be privileged to learn the rules and regulations governing the disciplines.
The course would also cater for referees, as ten of them would be trained, together with the twenty coaches selected nation-wide. It was disclosed that two experts from Bulgaria, Andon Sheytanov and Georgi Karamanliev, would be in charge of the training.
Pamela Williams of the Ministry of Youth and Sports admonished the coaches to take the training seriously, as there is the tendency to consider those who excel for similar courses.
