The World Bank office in Sierra Leone will organize a three-day workshop for Members of Parliament slated for the 30th September on to the 2nd on development oversight, representation and Legislation.This workshop is being organized in response to the call from the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and the Parliament of Sierra Leone. Experts will be drawn from the United Nations Office on drug and crime (UNDOC) and the Financial Intelligence Unit of Malawi to organize this three-day workshop on the theme ‘Broadcasting the knowledge Base of Parliamentarians on Development Issues’.
The purpose of this workshop is to strengthen the representation, oversight and legislative functions of parliament and it will provide members with the opportunity to be fully briefed about how the World Bank, ADB and other development partners
