The Blackpool Football Team has sent a signal of strong warning to other premier league teams that all is not over yet for them when they thrashed Golden Dragon by three goals to zero(3-0) in the on going premier league over the weekend in Magburaka playing field.
To break the undefeatable record of Golden dragons in the league this is the first winning for Blackpool out of their five matches played so far. They have now secured 6 points to their credit.
Speaking to the head coach of Mighty Blackpool Christian Cole said that he was building a new team and they have now started to respond to his game plan and thus delivering the goods in a positive way by scoring goals.
Coach Cole went further by boasting that they are not going to lose any of their remaining matches as he has advised his boys to now be focused because as a team they have what it takes to win the competition which will be a big surprise to other teams that were ruling them out of the league because of their poor start.
He also went further to assure football fans that the team will try their best to maintain their winning spree at all cost if they are to clinch this year’s trophy.
In the other match played in Kono, Diamond Stars defeated Real Republicans by a lone goal, the only goal in the match scored from a penalty spot which divided both sides and Diamond Stars Secured all three vital points.
That particular defeat for Real Republicans has been the third defeat for the team out of the four matches played with only one point to their credit which is not good for the team.
And if the team continue like that they will face relegation to the first division where they came from which will not be good for a big team like Real Republicans.
The premier league will resume at the National Stadium after a two weeks break.
