Fear and panic have gripped residents of Jagbowahun village in the Kowa Chiefdom after rendering the area unsafe and stand still, as a result of the untimely death of one Michael Bassie who was recently killed by wild bush cows while being hunted by armed police personnel.
According to the Bo Police Crime Officer Ibrahim Halladu who spoke to our correspondent, the deceased met his untimely death during a hunting expedition in the forest where he saw a wild bush cow freeing itself from a trap.
The crime officer also said that the wild bush cow pounced on the deceased and rendered him seriously wounded and he died later as a result of the injuries. The Police had since deployed armed personnel to hunt the bush cow and kill it before it renders havoc on the people. The remains of Michael Bassie was later buried after a postmortem examination by Dr Kargbo.
