Nancy Anderson of 11 Duawo Street in Kenema has sued her husband, Musa Mansaray of 4 Semabu Lane in Kenema, to court.
The husband has already made his first appearance before presiding magistrate Tonia Mbawa on three count charges.
Musa Mansaray stood accused of threatening remarks contrary to section 3 (1) of the public order Act number 46 of 1965. The second count was abusive languages contrary to section 3 (2) of the public order Act of 1965 and count three was public insults and provocation contrary to section 2 of the public order Act of 1965.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused person Musa Mansaray sometime last week at 11 Duawo Street used threatening remarks, abusive language, public insult and provocation against his wife madam Nancy Anderson and her parents.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was represented by lawyer Momoh Tapeima Gobeh who applied for bail and argued that both parties were husband and wife with three children.
The presiding magistrate, Tonia Mbawa, refused the accused bail until evidence was heard.
The matter was adjourned to tomorrow
