The Chairman for Ports Authority Media Committee Musa Sesay disclosed to Awoko that they are relax for today’s match against FC Kallon even though they lost their last match woefully to Kambui Eagles in Kenema.
He further stated that they have put the defeat behind them and they are now focusing on today’s match that they want to win at all cost. Any result apart from winning will dampened their hope for the title.
Musa also mentioned that they have a better record over FC Kallon and they are going to maintain it. In the first leg, they played to a one all draw which was not a good result for them.
However, today’s match is going to be different as the boys have assured the executive that they need to win at all cost to secure 36 points.
Musa Sesay also made it clear that as for now the executive does not have any plan to fire coach Abu Bakarr Kamara as head coach of the team, the fate of AbuBakarr Kamara will be determined at the end of the league season.
A member of the media committee of FC Kallon, Prince Scott said that they are going to extend their lead as they will secure all three vital points that will take them to 46 which will put them in a more comfortable position.
Also, the league will continue in Kono with Diamond Stars hosting Blackpool in a very thrilling match and this will be Mighty Blackpool’s third match in the second leg after some of their matches have been postponed.
Diamond Stars is going to the match to secure a win after they drew their last match against Old Edwardians in Kono.
The coach of Mighty Blackpool Christian Cole said they need to win the match to be close to the leading pack that will still put them in the race to contest for the championship.
