The Western Area Volleyball Association (WAVA) would start their annual Volleyball competition this weekend in Freetown.
Six (6) teams have been registered to participate in this year’s competition, which would be played on home and away bases.
During the competition each team is expected to play ten (10) matches and the team with the highest point will emerge as the winner of the competition.
The defending champion of the last Volleyball competition which is the Military will not participate in this year competition to defend their championship
The teams would play two games every weekend and the matches would start at 3 pm.
The teams are Stadium Stars, Solar Spikers, Sixer Spikers, Al-Bang, Forceans and Miracle Corner.
In tomorrow’s encounter Sixer Spikers would host Solar Spikers at Magnus in Kissy; while Forcean would lock horns with Al-Bang at Wilberforce and Miracle Corner would host Stadium Stars at Kissy Road.
On Sunday, Solar Spikers would face Forcean and Al-Bang would take on Miracle Corner at Bishop Johnson School.
