SIERRA LEONE, Kenema – The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has called on stakeholders of Kenema district to ensure that every body of voting age within the district must register. He made this call at the Kenema City Council hall on Maada Bio street in Kenema while on his way to the Kailahun district. He appealed to all to ensure that everyone registers in their localities, adding it is only when people register and get the voter ID card that will qualify an individual to be able to vote. Adding the ID card can be used for diverse purposes.
He said what comes out of Kenema district from the first phase of the voter registration is encouraging and therefore urged all to do more by involving all stakeholders at all levels. Several speakers at the session promised to do their best to live up to the expectations of all.
