Following the anger raised by some customers Monday at the Universal Forex Bureau at17 Rawdon Street in Freetown for non remittal of monies to them, it has been confirmed that the customers have now been paid.
Three customers: Mohamed Koroma, Mabel Koroma and Ibrahim Sandi yesterday confirmed that they had received their monies sent for them at the bureau by relatives abroad.
Mohamed Koroma said when he went to receive his one hundred United States dollars on Wednesday, the manager explained to him the reasons for the delay. But said at that time the money was badly needed and that no amount of excuses would have stopped him from doing what he did.
When Awoko visited the bureau yesterday, business was on smoothly and some of the customers spoken to expressed that they had not met delays at the bureau to collect their monies.
