Sierra Leone, Freetown: Head Coach of the Female Football U-20 team Victoria Conteh has expressed optimism ahead of the encounter with Guinea tomorrow in Senegal, citing their performance in various friendly matches during the 11 days camp in Bo city.
The team departed for Senegal on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 ahead of the Female World Cup Qualifiers with a 32-man delegation consisting of 22 players and 10 officials.
According to the media officials attached to the team Kemoh Arun Sesay said the team is in high spirit in readiness for the match tomorrow. The delegation comprises of Haja Ramatulai Kamara – Executive Committee Member is the Leader of delegation. Miriam Heroe – Head of Women’s Football, SLFA, Victoria Conteh – Head Coach, Ernest S.S. Hallowell – Assistant Head Coach 1, Regina Maitha Hamilton – Assistant Head Coach 2, Alison A. Conteh – Goal Keeping Coach, Musa Pele Bangura – Team Manager. Mamie Sheriff – Team Doctor 9, Mariama Koroma Masseur and Kemoh Arun Sesay – Media Officer. The return leg is scheduled for October 9th 2021. BT/24/9/2021
