As the African Continental Cycling Championship continue today Friday November 9th 2012 two Sierra Leonean Cyclists, Moses Sesay and Suleiman Bah, out of the four who registered for the competition, will participate in the individual time trials, today Friday November 9th 2012.
Speaking to Awoko sports from Burkina Faso, one of the officials who accompanied the team to the Games, Solomon Collier, said that two cyclists are looking up this time to the trials, as they want to put the country on the map.
Solomon Collier also stated that during the first day of the competition during the team time trials, Sierra Leone was ranked 13th out of 15th countries, according to Solomon Collier, the Sierra Leone team was unable to perform up to standard because two of the Sierra Leonean cyclists had a breakdown, just five minutes after the race started.
The Competition will continue on Saturday November 10th 2012 with a road race.
