Magistrate Adrian Fisher yesterday ordered the remand of two suspects that were docked for being in possession of short gun cartridges, when they appeared before him at the Bo Magistrate Court.
The two are; Hassan Kamara and Mamoud Jalloh who were alleged to have been selling the cartridges to hunters in the region.
According to court sources, the two were arrested after a traffic police while on duty along Fenton Road last Saturday saw a wheel barrow pusher with a quantity of assorted goods.
When the pusher came closer the source said, the policeman saw a large quantity of short gun cartridges in the cart, as a box was exposed and immediately effected an arrest. The source further stated that on arrival at the police station, investigation started immediately and the suspect was rounded up and taken into custody.
The two suspects will make another appearance tomorrow before the resident Magistrate.
