Residents of Timdale and its environs have breathed a sign of relief after learning of the construction of two bridges.
According to the assistant sub-contractor, Mohamed Saccoh, they had been contracted by the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) to construct two bridges at Mosanda and Mosebua.
He further disclosed that there were other places that needed bridges but funds were only available for those two places. He added that the backfilling of the bridges would be done by the community people.
The town chief of Mosanda, Alieu Stevens, said they were much happy, pointing out that for a long time they had been constructing local bridges which did not last longer.
