Tigo the most speedily developing mobile network has transformed a poor plastic bag seller to a millionaire in its grand raffle draw. Mohamed Jalloh who sells black plastic bags to eke out a living was ecstatic as he recalled “I was busy selling plastic bags when I received a call, and the caller informed me that I have won a million Leones from Tigo’s raffle draw.”
“I thought I was being fooled by the caller,” he said “but the caller insisted which made me believe that I have won indeed,” he explained.
Mohamed Jalloh revealed that he had joined the Tigo network 5 months ago, stating “I am happy for the prize that I have won.”
The plastic bag petty trader said “I’m going to invest it in my business.”
. The draw, he said, “has shown that Tigo is the ‘Bomba’
“I’m calling on others to join Tigo’s network because it is the best. If I have to buy a SIM pack for anyone, I’m definitely going to buy Tigo,” he said smiling with joy.
Another lucky winner in the Tigo’s raffle draw which was held in Bo last Saturday is Seth Kofi N’kansah.
N’kansah who seemed elated as he received his one million leones cheque from Tigo’s Distribution Supervisor, Sulaiman Jalloh said, “I was driving at the time when I received a call informing me that I have won a big prize.”
He went on “I parked the car and started laughing, I was mesmerized.”
N’kansah who is an electrician by profession stated, “at first I did not believe in those things, I thought it was a marketing strategy, but now Tigo has proved to me that it is a real thing – they said it and they have done it. I’m advising everybody to go and get a Tigo chip and join the talk longer longer wagon.”
