Tigo’s promotional millionaire raffle draw has lifted a worrisome father’s financial stress in getting school materials and paying fees for his kids.
In a presentation ceremony to eleven lucky winners at the Asian ornamented ‘Indochine’ restaurant at Aberdeen, Ibrahim Kamara who is one of the proud lucky winners for the September 18th to 28th draw, said elatedly, “I can now pay the school fees for my children and buy them school materials.”
Mr. Kamara continued, “I was thinking how to pay the fees for my children now that schools have opened; when all of a sudden I received the call that I have won Tigo’s millionaire draw.”
Mr Kamara who resides at Poyo Bar, Calaba-Town said, “when I received the call I did not believe I thought it was a joke, only when the caller insisted, that was when I finally decided to talk with him.” I do not know how to thank Tigo, Mr Kamara said “for removing me from this financial burden I was facing.”
A third year student at the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS), Alpha Bangura who also bagged Tigo’s one million Leones cash explained, “when college reopens I was thinking of where to get my fees for this academic year. I was really worried,” he said. But with this cash prize, he stated, “I can now pay my fees.”
Tigo’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Jariatu Bah explained that the winner should be Tigo’s Ambassador by spreading the news that Tigo is real and it is the subscriber’s friend.
