Three accused persons Dauda Jalloh, Momoh Sannoh and Musa Aruna have made their last appearance before the presiding magistrate Komba Kamanda in the magistrate court in Kenema city for unlawful possession of arm.
According to the prosecutor Inspector Patrick Smart told the court that the accused persons the first accused Dauda Jalloh on Sunday 29th March 20009 at Foindu Mamema village in the Lower Bambara chiefdom Kenema district and the second Momoh Sannoh and the third accused Musa Aruna all assembled at Soijeh village in the Lower Bambara chiefdom Kenema district and they were found in possession of two single barrels of short guns without lawful authority. They all were charged to court for unlawful possession of arms contrary to section 19 (1) A of the Arms and ammunition Act no. 14 of 1965.
They all pleaded guilty to the charged and were sentenced to six months imprisonment or to pay a fine of 600.000 leones each.
