The former Secretary for the Western Area Football Association, Kasho Holland-Cole, has said that it would be a turning point in the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) were it to have a seasoned football administrator like Rodney Michael become the next president. “And he is going to change the game because for the past 7 years this present executive is running the game without any plan. That is why Rodney Michael is coming with a plan that will benefit the football family,” he clarified.
He said it all started in April 2012, after they adopted the constitution, “and the following year Isha took power in an illegal manner. Since that time up to now it has caused problem in the football family.”
Cole furthered by advising the football family that, “When election is coming they are now giving money to clubs and regional FAs all because they need your votes. I’m advising you to accept such money it belongs to you, but at the end of the day vote wisely.”
