Sierra Leone: The Head Coach of Sierra Queens Abdulai Kaloga Bah has said that there is room for improvement. He encouraged the FA to continue to engage the girls in frequent training and regular participation in leagues and competitions.
He made this statement after Sierra Queens lost to Liberia by three goals to one (3-1) in the Mano River Union tournament that was played in Bo mini stadium.
Sierra Leone National Women’s Football Team (Sierra Queens’) captain Rashidatu Kamara who also plays for World Girls FC in Liberia, has in her Facebook post, taken responsibility for their dreadful performance but believes the team can improve if ‘good construction and consistency’ is maintained within the squad. She apologized for their poor performance and also lauded the opportunity given to them to represent their country.
