When I left for China in 2007, I never knew where I was going as the stories heard about China have mostly been negative. I went with an open mind and never regretted going to China. I can authoritatively say in my opinion that they have arrived.
The peace and tranquil I enjoyed in China was one that I will never forget in a hurry. Life in China was very peaceful regardless of the system of government. Enough to eat and drink, nobody to harass your life, laws in the country are obeyed and the people of china are very very straight forward.
China has already achieved food security can boast of availability, affordability and accessibility. When a Chinese greets someone, the next question he or she will ask is whether you have eaten, if the answer is negative, he or she will ask again why you have not eaten, because there is enough to eat at anytime, any place and any hour.
Life in china can be compared with the West because of the development in the country. Lots of entertainment facilities are available for every age group, enough places to relax and sightseeing for locals as well as foreigners to get enough fun.
China is now a world responsible leader with emphasis continued improvement of its citizens’ welfare and they never seek to interfere with world politics.
Many of the ideas behind the effort to promote the concept of the peaceful rise of the PRC came from the new security concept, which was formulated by think tanks in the PRC in the mid-1990s. ‘Peaceful development’ has since been the definition generally used by senior officials, with ‘peaceful rise’ rarely heard. The military and economic prominence of China will never pose a threat to peace and stability, and that other nations will benefit from their rise and influence.
Students from all over the world who are studying in china have found the country peaceful to live with one another and with the Chinese.
Peaceful rise is China’s way of acknowledging the historical problems associated with being a rising power and signaling to the world that Beijing seeks to manage this process to prevent conflict. Chinese policymakers and analysts argue that, as China rises, it seeks to avoid the competition from others and are working peacefully to develop the country and improve the peoples’ life.
According to the traditional theory and experience, a rising power would go into conflict with the major powers, but China’s growth has nothing to do with other powers and believe that even with all the ethnic groups, they can co-exist at the highest level.
Looking back upon history, basing itself on the present reality and looking forward to the future, China will unswervingly follow the road of peaceful development, making great efforts to achieve a peaceful, open, cooperative and harmonious development.
China has been striving for a peaceful international environment to develop itself and promoting world peace through its own development. Also they are working to achieve development by relying on itself, together with reform and innovation, while persisting in the policy of opening-up;
They have conformed to the trend of economic globalization, and they are striving to achieve mutually beneficial common development with other countries. They Stick to peace, development and cooperation, and, together with all other countries, devoting itself to building a harmonious world marked by sustained peace and common prosperity.
The Chinese government in achieving peace has ensured that higher standards of living of Chinese people and the dislike war and conflict by its people will definitely give them the tranquility they are yearning for.
With political stability as the top priority, growth has been the major source of legitimacy of the Party and government. Their leadership can no longer do things like before or the North Koreans do to keep stability and close the door and exaggerate the outside threats.
Finally China is always happy to keep a peaceful and cordial relationship with the West and the United States as they believe they are their partners of development. The peace of China and the policies has been based on the US system and today they are enjoying it to the fullest extent. Millions of Westerners now visit china annually to enjoy the peace and the development of the country.
I hope that those students that will be awarded scholarship this year will definitely find China interesting and will have all the facilities to further their studies in earnest.
