All roads will be leading to Aberdeen/Lumley beach opposite Leone Lodge Hotel on Saturday and Sunday 10th and 11th April, from 9am to 5pm each day, for the third series of the National Teqball Challenge.
According to the leader and founder of teqball in Salone, Unisa Deen Kargbo, the first two series that took place at the Siaka Stevens Stadium and Masiaka were a success, adding that after the third series the final series will take place in Kenema, where the winner will be crowned.
He revealed that the third series is expected to be tense as “all the clubs are looking forward to this series that will take them to the final series.”
According to Mohamed Turay, the scribe of the Swimming Association that has been part of both series, although teqball is a new sport, it has created an impact in the country as it is not only being played in Freetown, but also in the provinces, “which makes it unique.”
