Nineteen-year-old Mohamed Swarray of 51 Hangha Road in Kenema has made his last appearance at the Kenema High Court for larceny.
The accused, according to the prosecutor Timothy Momoh Sowa, on 15th August 2006 broke and entered the shop of one Sama Kanan and stole one digital satellite receiver valued at Le480.000, seven cartoons of can soft drink valued at Le2, 010,000, two speakers valued at Le300.000, four AC automatic voltage regulator valued at Le400.000 and other assorted items all totaling five million and nine thousand Leones.
He was later charged with larceny contrary to section 26(1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
The accused pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment from the time of incarceration.
