Members of the United Tailors’ Association (UTA), Blama Town in the Small Bo chiefdom in the Kenema district, have elected an executive to man the affairs of their association.
After the election the post of chairman went to Momoh Fatorma to be assisted by Sheriff Morlai.
The post of secretary general went to Mohamed Munda to be assisted by Yusuf Juana. Abu Kamara became the financial secretary, and the position of organizing secretary went to Mohamed Alpha while Vandi Mambu secured the position of treasurer.
The chief whip position went to Bockarie Korgbaka and the post of adviser went to Mamoud Jalloh.
In his post-election speech, the chairman-elect Momoh Fatorma thanked all those who voted him and called on all to join him in the interest of the association.
He said the association was formed on 9 April 2007 to create employment and skill trainings in tailoring for youths in Blama Town and its environs.
Mr Fatorma called on the public to cooperate with them at all times, as they were there to serve the nation.
