The Sierra Leone Taekwondo Association is organizing a nationwide training course for coaches, referees, and athletes.
The course is geared towards expanding the newly formed association.
According to the President of the Association Oness A Johnson, after a recognition at the International body, he made an appealed for a help to facilitate a training course they want to undertake.
He went on to say that the international Federation responded by sending four experts from Korea, who are presently in Sierra Leone.
But what the association is appealing for at the moment is financial help from the government, National Olympic Committee (NOC) business houses and well meaning Sierra Leoneans, to render a financial help to the association to enable them complete the training.
He explained to Awoko that the four experts are responsible for their return air tickets, while the association will take responsibility of getting lodging, feeding and local transportation for them.
But he went further to claim that he has not received financial help from either the government or NOC.

The also sent an appeal to those who have received letters from them for help, to kindly respond. The President said that four experts will be in Sierra Leone for 39 days. The training will kick-off in Freetown at the National Stadium karate gym today.
