This is the state of two years old Janet Momoh, who has been in this critical condition for three months running. Janet, who now endures this pathetic state of a dead left-hand and foot, got into this bad situation in the village of Nyandehun, Bo District when the father took her there to have a jolly good time with relations. After a month, Janet developed cold which soon degenerated into the stiffening of the neck and the subsequent malfunctioning of the left foot and hand. She was then taken to the Bo Government Hospital, where she spent over a month at the children’s ward of Ward 8, with no cure forth coming. The doctor’s diagnosis was “Tuberculosis.” She was then taken to Dr Sombi’s Private hospital, where she spent another month with no improvement. With that the mother Julliet Braima decided to try the use of native medicine.
