Sierra Leonean midfielder, Rodney Strasser has expressed his delight over his loan move from AC Milan to Parma.
The youngster who is looking forward to have more playing time with Parma said he is physically and mentally fit now, and ready for action with his new side.
“I’m glad to have arrived at a club that focuses on young people; I’m fine physically and mentally, cannot wait to play. I’m happy to be here, the club has a great history, I have come to grow and learn. The team is made ??up of many young people who are led by a great coach that focuses on the talents.
“We can get to the top and now I’m fine, physically and mentally fit and have now overcome my problems. I want to give the best for this team. I played a friendly match a few days ago and was good and I’m ready to play for Donadoni.”
Coach Roberto Donadoni, during the official unveiling ceremony of the player, said he is looking forward to work with the player and see how best he can help the club.
He said: “I’m glad he is here, he is a young player who comes from Milan and which is important for us. He is a player who can play all the roles of the in the midfield and now I’m very curious to see him work with us.
“We have already lost two players, so it’s up to Strasser to replace them. If a player manages to be flexible- meets the coach – it benefits the team but first I want to see him at work. It seems the boy has a good command of our language as a foreigner which is not easy.”
