Claudius Beckley, the State House Cameraman has been offered two weeks Advanced Course in camera production in Morocco.
Claudius has been a Cameraman at the SLBS for 15years, but this is the first opportunity he has got to pursue advance training in that field outside Sierra Leone.
Speaking to Awoko about the nature of the course, he said he was also going to undertake some courses in Journalism and that despite the fact that the duration of the course is two weeks; it is a step in the right direction.
The opportunity was given to him by the President and that it was the start of a series of training.
“The training is geared towards capacity building” he said.
He expressed gratitude to the President for giving him the opportunity to build his capacity.
He would leave for Morocco on Monday.
