Sports Life International one of the renowned Christian groups in the country will bring people from all works of life together to take part in this year’s jog for Jesus which will start in the morning hours this Saturday.
Speaking about Jog for Jesus the founder and the executive Director of the group Pastor Yatta Samura said that Jog for Jesus has been an annual event taking place for the past seven years with people of different denominations coming together to participate in the jogging.
He mentioned that this event is always held on the Saturday before Easter and for the past years it has been a success story as testimonies were made by several people after the jogging.
He said the number increases every year and this particular event has been a blessing to Sports Life International.
Pastor Yatta also revealed that the jogging is not a competition but it is very important for the physical fitness of everyone who takes part in it.
He also stated that during the jogging on Saturday those in the Eastern Part of the city will start from Annie Walsh Secondary School and those in the Western part will start from Collegiate School both groups will end at the National Stadium Car Park at Brookfield in Freetown.
