The Coach of Premier League side, Gem Stars, Soccoh Arun Conteh would according to sources very close to his team’s officials in Tongo be sacked if he fails to win his next match to be played on Saturday, February 25th 2012 against Old Edwardians at the National Stadium in Freetown.
Reliable sources from Tongo in the East of Sierra Leone have intimated that despite the effort by Coach Conteh in the elevation of the team to the premier league level, latest performances of the team are far below the expectations of the management and fans of the team.
Sources maintain that the Saturday match is the last match Coach Conteh would be overseeing if he fails to secure a win against the May Park Boys. Accordingly, “he would be sacked instantly if he loses that game as there is no alternative left with the management,” sources maintain. Gem Stars has secured only one win from five matches.
This situation places Coach Soccoh Arun Conteh in a very critical position as he needs to win next Saturday’s match at all cost.
