Five suspects, all of whom are believed to be supporters of the main opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) are likely to be charged to court following their recent arrest for allegedly obstructing the voter registration process in Ward 325 Gendema, in the Soro Gbema Chiefdom in the Pujehun District, Regional Police Commissioner David Sesay has disclosed to Awoko.
The suspects include: Foday Koroma, Senesie Rogers, Tairu Massaquio, Benson Lahai and Mohamed Issa Sesay. Accordingly, they were arrested by police on Saturday, February 25th 2012 for the alleged obstruction.
Speaking to Awoko, the Regional Police Boss noted that all five suspects are being held in police custody awaiting appearance in court, disclosing that their case files have already been passed over to the State Council for legal advice.
