Speculations are rife within Makeni city that the SLPP aspirant for Constituency 28, Abu A Koroma, has gone into hiding following allegations that he had been declared wanted by his own party agents.
It is alleged that he was unable to meet the financial obligation of his party agents who were recruited to represent him on polling day.
But a source within the party in Makeni has debunked the allegation of the aspirant going into hiding as he was not responsible for the recruitment of party agents.
The source went on to explain that, “if the disgruntled agents want their allowances they know where to go and collect their monies.”
He went on to emphasize that, “in fact we have nothing to settle with any party agents throughout Bombali district”.
However, family sources said the aspirant had not gone into hiding but simply changed his present abode for security reasons.
