The national cycling association will organise the Western Area Youth Cycling competition, the first edition on Sunday with over 20 cyclists taking part and it will
attract mostly secondary school pupils.
The president of the association, Winston Crowther, said as an association they decided to organise this competition to have more cyclists in the association’s fold.
“These young cyclists will be replacing the old cyclists in the future and we are also going to encourage these young cyclists to take active part in the association,” he noted.
He also mentioned that come next Sunday the association would also be organising the seventh edition of the Bullom Championship at Lungi, and that some of these young cyclists who would excel this Sunday might take in the Bullom race.
