The Sierra Leone National Cycling Association (SLNCA) has discovered a new cyclist, Momoh Sei,13, of the Buxton Primary School.
Momoh Sei’s first national competition was the Western Area Youth Championship where he defeated a good number of youthful cyclists in a competition that was very competitive.
After that competition Sei never relented as he also went to Lungi with the elite cyclists to take part in the 7th edition of the Kaffu Bullom Cycling Championship, and his performance in Lungi sent a signal that young cyclists would soon take over from the elite cyclists.
During the competition in Lungi Momoh Sei was able to defeat a Guinean and about five Sierra Leoneans after the first lapse which is equivalent to 18 miles. At the presentation ceremony he won the best youngest cyclists award.
He disclosed to Awoko Sports that he would continue to take part in other competitions.
