One of the presidential hopefuls in this year’s Elective Congress of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Christian Dauda has given boost to local coaches in the Premier and Division I Clubs by donating sporting foot wears to them last Saturday, March 3rd 2012 at the Football Academy, Kingtom.
The donations were presented by Eric Lansana on behalf of Christian Dauda. Lansana described Christian Dauda as a man who has passion for the game and has planned to take the game to another level.
He said the aspirant was in the country about four years to ivy for the football Presidency. He said during the visit, Mr. Dauda learnt several issues affecting the development and growth of football in the country, noting that he is not a stranger to the problems of football in the country.
Public Relation Officer SLFA, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay cautioned that the use of the Football Academy to make the donation on behalf of Christian Dauda does not mean the FA is in support of him.
“Any other candidate who wants to ivy for the same position can also hold a press conference at the football academy as this place belongs to the football family,” Sorie Ibrahim Sesay noted.
