The deputy minister of youth and sports, Dr Algassium Jah at a meeting with the SLFA executive on Friday at his Bishop House Office, at the National Stadium, disclosed that “SLFA is not responsible of hotel debts.”
He mentioned that the national team did not belong to SLFA so the hotel debt was a national concern, adding that, “we are going to see how this problem will be solved and a four-man team is expected to visit Africell who are sponsoring the national team for their own version concerning the hotel debt”.
Dr Jah noted that the four-man team would be headed by the director of Sports Sadiu Mansaray, the SLFA president Nahim Kadi, Woody Conteh and the administrative secretary Abubakarr Kabbah (sweet Kay).
This team is expected to report back to Dr Jah after the meeting today as President Ernest Koroma was also concerned about the issue.
During the meeting minister Jah also revealed that the task force for all international matches would be announced this weekend after consultation with Vice President Sama Sumana
