Sierra Leoneans benefit from Pest Control engagement

Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – The Crown Prince Komkanda Logistics and General Services SL Ltd has concluded a one-day engagement on pest Control and environmental hygiene. The session which was conducted on Saturday 7th January 2023 at the Mahera Township in Lungi attracted over 50 participants.

Speaking during the event, Proprietor and Managing Director, Prince Crispin SB Komkanda said that his vision is to empower young people and to see that the organization reaches national and international levels. He admonished attendees to be focused, determined, and to be result oriented. He assured all that requisite modalities would be put in place to ensure that the vision and mission statements of the company are fully achieved.

In his statement the Chairman of, the Board of Directors, Edward Williams said that it is important for attendees to put into practice whatever they are taught. He added that knowledge is vital and admonished participants to make judicious use of the opportunity. He said that it is a performance that will inform promotion and asked attendees to be result driven.

Tamba Fayia from the Directorate of Environmental Health at Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health and Sanitation made a presentation on Public Health and Hygiene. He said that all rules and regulations should be put into practice in the dispensation of duties and assured that he would be working hand in hand with the establishment to ensure that the right things are always done.

The company’s External Relations, Research, and Planning Manager, Sheku Putka Kamara made a presentation on the importance of logical precision and behaviour in decision-making where he propounded that the duty to self and the duty to society should be very paramount in critical thinking. He called on attendees to always ask questions where doubts and difficulties exist so that they’d be on the right track. MJB/10/1/2023
