The opening ceremony, scheduled for August 28th, 2024, will mark the commencement of this grand event, where athletes will compete in 549 medal events across 22 sports over 11 days of fierce competition.
Paris, the iconic city of lights, will serve as the backdrop for this momentous occasion, with all Paralympic events taking place in and around the city, including the suburbs of Saint-Denis and Versailles, as well as Vaires-sur-Marne. This central location ensures easy access for spectators eager to witness the incredible feats of athleticism.
For the first time in history, France will host the Summer Paralympic Games, adding to its rich legacy of sporting excellence.
