Sierra Leone Sports:In Cricket T2O Premier League…Police Shatter RSLAF by 82 Runs

Over the weekend at the Prince of Wales grounds in Kingtom, Freetown, Sierra Leone Police Cricket Club continued their good run in the T20 premier league with a well-deserved victory against RSLAF.
RSLAF who woefully lost their chance of avenging against the Police were lucky to win the toss and decided to field first.
In the first innings, Police scored 159 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
The batting team of Police was very active throughout the innings with Balowa Mansaray scoring 54 runs; Joseph Kamanoh made 31 runs and Abubakarr Kamara scored 35 runs.
In the RSLAF bowling team, Osman Kamara took 2 wickets and concedes 40 runs in 4 overs, Suleiman Tarawallie grabbed 3 wickets, concede 29 runs in 4 overs whiles Abass Gbla took 1 wicket and conceded 27 runs for 4 overs.
During the second innings, RSLAF batting team was targeting 160 runs but they were unable to overturn the result as the Police bowlers only limited them to reply with 76 runs all out in 15.3 overs.
Osman Kamara made 19 runs, Julius Brewah recorded 14 runs and Abass Gbla accounted for 9 runs.
Police fielders showcase their maturity in fielding and their quality bowling team. Julius Quee took 4 wickets, conceded 19 runs in 4 overs, R Tommy snatched 2 wickets conceded 2 runs in 3 overs, Abubakarr Kamara took 2 wickets conceded 5 runs in 3 overs and Gabriel Anthony  grabbed 1 wicket conceded 16 runs in 2 overs.
Balowa Mansaray of Police Cricket Club was named man of the match.
