The Chairman for the Central One Football Association (COFA) Sammah Sesay has said that as an association they were able to achieve their aims and objectives in the inter community league that ended over the weekend.
He said that he was satisfied with the performance of the two teams during the final both in and out of the field.
COFA Chairman said that the turnout was great as Sierra Leone came in numbers to support their various communities to victory during the match, Mountain City defeated Foulah Town by a goal to nil to win this year’s inter community league.
Build up to the final, various individuals like Moseray Fakia donated five million Leones each with water and soft drink to both teams while the Director of Sports Ibrahim Bangura donated two bags of rice and five hundred thousand Leones to each community.
In the morning hours before the match also the Director of Sports organized breakfast for both communities, officials and with some officials of the Central One Football Association (COFA)
During the presentation to various communities the key words preached by various speakers was peace as both teams are from various communities.
