The Chairman of the Central One Football Association, Sammah Sesay has said that they are going to follow the rules and regulation of the association to the letter.
He made this statement after the decision taken by the disciplinary committee to fine Mountain City FC for attacking the referees and officials of COFA and would pay a fine of six hundred thousand Leones (Le 600.000.00).
He also stated that any team that will behave in such manner will face heavier fine as such act need to stop for the smooth running of the league.
He also went further to appeal to teams to respect the rules and regulation of the association, the reason why before any tournament they always have a meeting or seminar to go through the rules and regulation.
COFA Chairman also revealed that the on going COFA inter area league is gaining momentum as every community is preparing to win the league and, according to the chairman, this league has put most of the players who were not playing active football in good shape because of the ebola crisis in the country.
