The Minister of Sports, Paul Kamara, according to information reaching Awoko Sports, on Saturday 21st November sealed the office of the Sierra Leone Athletics Association (SLAA) at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.
The information stated that since he had advised the association not to go to election it was on that day he was supposed to have meeting with them but they boycotted the meeting and certain sets of them went against the advice and went on to organize election which does not have the blessing of the ministry of sports and NOC..
In was on this score, according to information, that he decided to seal the office has they have shown no respect for the ministry.
The information also revealed that the Ministry will put out official statement against some of those who are behind the defiance.
