Sierra Leone Athletics Association (SLAA) and some executive members and athletes have paid a courtesy call on the chairman sports For All Umaru Kakay at his Squash office at the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown recently.
The visit was as a result of the teams performance in Banjul according to the head of the delegation Emerick Cole who said that they are very happy to pay such a visit to the President sports for all commission Umaru Kakay because of his good partnership with Sporting disciplines in the country especially athletics.
They went further to plead to him for his continued support, more when it comes to international participation.
President for the Commission in his response said that he is very happy to receive the athletics delegation after a successful competition in Banjul.
He also stated as President for the Sports for All Commission he will do his best to assist the association in his own little way possible. He appealed to the athletes to continue to train more so that they can perform more than what they did in Banjul.
