As the Central One Community Football Super League knockout stage continues today 20 June 2018, Mountain City will battle against Dwarzack in a thrilling encounter at the Parade Grounds in Freetown.
Gibrilla Sesay of Mountain City said they are confident of winning the match as they are well prepared and focused for today’s match. Winning the match will put the community in a very good stead after losing to Foulah Town on Saturday 16 June 2018.
Mohamed Bah of Dwarzack said they are up to task to eliminate one of the favourites of this year’s competition.
The Secretary General of Central One Football Association, Cline Cole, said that in today’s match before and after the match Dwarzack Community need to use Hill Side bye pass road –Regent Road,Macauley Street to Parade while Mountain City are going to use the following route, Mountain Cut-Third Street to Regent Road, Circular road to Parade.
The Chairman of COFA, Sammah Sesay, said since the start of the knockout stages it has been very peaceful and eight matches have been played so far in this stage with Foulah Town defeating Magazine by a goal to nil (1-0).
Abacha City and Brookfield played to a one all draw in the full time of play during penalties shoot out Abacha City won 5-4.
Cole Farm lost to Tengbeh Town by three goals to one (3-1) while Susan’s Bay lost to Kamayama by two goals to nil (2-0). Central defeated New England by two goals to nil (2-0).
And Moa Wharf and Lumley played to a one all draw in the full time of play with Lumley won 4-3 on penalties. While Shell Jewellers defeated Okaymorie by a goal to nil. The competition will continue tomorrow with Soja Tong playing against Wellington.
