One of the favorites to win this year Central One Football Association (COFA) inter super Community league Mountain City are out the competition when they lost to Dwarzack by 8-7 after a two all draw (2-2) at full time.
Ishmael Sesay of Dwarzack community said they deserve the winning as the boys were focused throughout the match to make sure that they eliminate one of the favourite community teams. He said the win will send a signal that they are a force to reckon with and they hope to continue on that winning spree as their main aim is to win the competition.
He said it will not be easy for any community to defeat them as they are playing as a team and all the players are from Dwarzack, which is good for the community.
Alfred Conteh, a fan of Mountain City, said going out of the competition at this point in time is not good for the community like Mountain City who are one of the community they were expecting to win the league.
He said for them to lose two matches in a row – one to Foulah Town at the Ministry of Sports Community shield before losing to Dwarzack is a big blow to them but he said they are going to put their house in order to make sure they win their next match.
Mohamed Bah said Mountain City will be difficult for them to win matches if they failed to put their house in order as they have serious division with them that is affecting the team greatly.
The Chairman of COFA, Sammah Sesay, said that this knockout stage will be full of surprise result, which is good for the competition it makes it more competitive this time around.
