The Manager of the national team, Leone Stars, Christian Dauda, has thanked the mini league organizers for “keeping the game alive.” He made this statement at Portuguese Town Amateur Football Association (POTAFA) 2018 championship at the Dr. S M Broderick Municipal School where he gave out official footballs and other items to run the association.
He assured the mini leaguers “that your contributions towards the development of football will be always recognized.”
Receiving the balls on behalf of his Association the Vice Chair of POTAFA, Amadu Wurie Gachico, thanked Dauda for the balls and for recognizing their contribution towards the development of the game.
James Kamara said since Christian Dauda became the team Manager of Leone Stars he has done a lot for the mini leagues all over the country because he wants to see the game playing.
