Morrison SannohOne of the alleged match fixer’s Morrison Sannoh has said that he will not attend any match fixing enquiry committee headed by Major retired Palo Conteh.
He said Palo Conteh does not have the locus to head such committee as he was the one that was supporting Isha “how can he now want to chair a committee that want to try people of alleged match fixing.”
He said that such committee is illegal, “they are just using the match fixing as a means of witch hunting certain individuals to take them out of football which will not possible. Some of us have put our resources in this game.
He also revealed that any time when there is supposed to be congress this is the time match fixing comes on to deviate the attention of some of the stakeholders “that will not work this time around.”
Sannoh also stated that he has never received any letter from any individual inviting him to a match fixing enquiry, he said he just saw it on whatsapp and listened to it on radio.
According to the information reaching this medium all of the 4 people who were supposed to attend the match fixing enquiry on Tuesday 19th July never turned up as they did not recognize the committee.
Reacting to the match fixing enquiry the Deputy Minister of Sports Al Sankoh said that the committee is a fake committee. It has no legitimacy to do such a job. Very unfortunate and misleading.
He also stated that they do not have respect for the ministry of sports “they are trying to undermine our work which is very bad for sports.”
According to other information reaching this medium the Chairman of the match fixing committee has said that he is giving 72 hours after which all the four people who refuse to attend the enquiry will be arrested.
