The Commonwealth Games delegation from Sierra Leone consisting of athletes, coaches and officials left the shores of Freetown on Tuesday 15th July in the evening hours onboard Gambia Bird.
The delegation will transit through London before taking off to Scotland were the Games will be hosted this year.
The delegation will be joined by part of the NOC executive, representatives from the Sports Council and the Sports Ministry on 20th July 2014.
According to the timetable, the 21st July is going to be the conference of Sports Ministers and Commonwealth Games Federations, while on the following day, the Sierra Leone delegation would be officially welcomed into the Games Village.
The Games itself will start on the 23rd July, 2013 and end on 3rd August and the Sierra Leone delegation is expected back home on 6th August 2014.
