Central One Football Association (COFA) has slammed an indefinite suspension on Susan’s Bay community football team after finding them guilty of contravening article 5(4) of the rules and regulations of COFA.
It states that “In case of an abandoned match because of the fault of one team the result of that the match shall be counted as 2-0 with 3 points in favour of the other team.”
If you may recall, this is the third time of misconduct by Susan’s Bay community fans this season as the Susan Bay community was only allowed to participate in this year’s competition on probation after a season long suspension.
Though the Susan Bay community had been fined and cautioned, they had never adhered to it, as a result of this, a lot of damage was done to people and property in and around the parade grounds facility.
In line of the above and because Susan’s Bay failed to adhere to the “probationer obligation,” the Susan’s bay Community has indefinitely been suspended from all COFA facilities and organized competition and that 2-0 goals and three points have been awarded to mountain city football team.
